What Apple phones does FanFuga work on?

FanFuga works on any iPhone or iPad running iOS 8.0 or later.

What Android phones does FanFuga work on?

FanFuga has been designed to work on phones running Android 4.1 or later. It works best on phones running Android 5.0 or later.

How long should it take to connect to other phones?

A connection to a nearby Apple phone should be made in around 30 seconds.

Connections between Android phones may take longer – sometimes up to 2 minutes.

Why does my phone not connect to other FanFuga devices?

If you are using an Android device running Android 4.4 or lower your phone will connect to other Android phones, but it won’t connect to Apple devices.

The Bluetooth implementations on some older Android phones are unstable and can cause problems. For these phones there are a few things you can try:

How do I add a team I support?

Press the menu icon (top left) and select the My Teams option.

Press the + icon (top right) and then select the country, sport, league and then finally the team you wish to add.

This will then return you to the My Teams screen and the new team will be added to the list of teams you support.

How do select what team I am currently supporting?

The team you are currently supporting is shown top right on the main screen of the app.

To change this team click on the top right team icon and a selection screen will appear which will allow you to select one of the other teams you have added to the My Teams screen (see above).

Using this screen you can also change what strip your team is wearing (home, away etc.) so that the colours the app is using matches the strip they are wearing.

How do I remove a team?

Press the menu icon (top left) and select the My Teams option.

On iOS swipe left on the team you wish to remove and then press the Delete button to confirm.

On Android you can either long press on the team you wish to remove and confirm the delete, or you can click on multiple teams and press the trash can icon top right to delete all the selected teams.

How do I report a problem?

The best way to report a problem is to run the app until the problem appears and then press the menu button (top left) and select the Report A Problem option.

This sends us the logfiles from the app which will help us solve your problem faster. It also saves us asking you lots of tedious questions about what make of phone you have etc.
